July 13th: CRE Construction Overview and Future Tech Trends
Speakers include Christi Johnson, Regional Preconstruction Director/ Vice President, with Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC; as well as Jeff Ogawa, Senior Virtual Design Coordinator, with Brasfield & Gorrie LLC. Topics will include an overview of the ins and outs of the Preconstruction process for a complex commercial development as well as a forward look into some of the future tech trends with Virtual Design and Construction using 3D Models. There will be a VR Headset with pre-loaded programs for everyone to experience first-hand.

July 27th: Legal Considerations for Financing Real Estate Deals
Speakers include Matt Armstrong and John David Lind from Broad & Cassel LLP’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Topics will include (1) Raising equity capital from investors (2) Securing debt capital from various lenders and institutions and (3) Structuring and negotiating self-financed deals between partners.

August 8th: Success in Commercial Real Estate Brokerage
Speakers include Wilson McDowell, Managing Director and Principal of Cite Partners, and Greg Morrison, Managing Director and Principal of Avison Young in Central Florida. Topics to include first hand accounts of best practices, business development, and the skills, tools and knowledge for growing a brokerage business from Wilson McDowell and Greg Morrison.
