As the fastest growing county in the Orlando metro area, and the 10th fastest growing in the nation, Greater Osceola is a major player in the region’s future. Osceola County is 1,506 square miles with the City of Kissimmee serving as the County seat. Steeped in a rich history passed down from pioneer ranching families, Osceola County is focused on a vision to be the center of research and manufacturing for “smart sensors” that will supercharge the regional economy in what will be a $154 billion industry by 2020. The County also hosts approximately 7 million overnight guests annually. The City of Kissimmee is on a fast track of economic growth and redevelopment, including a downtown waterfront renaissance and a newly formed medical arts district.
